noob404 Thank you for your answer. Recently I managed to get batocera 40 running 🙂. It booted, and obviously executed the initramfs, after I installed batocera 40 on my USB-Stick manually via a linux machine (Before I was always trying the easy install method with progressbar). It's very strange, cause I didn't exchange bzImage or initramfs. Still using the same initramfs (special one for batocera in Downloads section).
But I have another issue.
The performance seems to be very poor. EspeciallyAll Gamecube games on dolphin have stuttering, run slow and have low fps and so on.
I guess it has to do with much too old and poorly optimised Linux payloads for this FW and the Pro console (I use 2GB or 3GB VRAM).
Problem is, I want to stay on FW 5.05. But I can't find optimised payloads for this FW (I need performance optimised ones, since its a Pro console). Instead for FW 9.00 and above you easily find those here and in the Downloads Section:

Another big issue probably everyone has since 2022:
https://ps4linux.com/forums/d/110-batocera-scrapper-not-working
https://ps4linux.com/forums/d/35-batocera-for-ps4-v1-installation-tutorial/31
So you cannot scrape artwork for any game (maybe except games known at ARCADEDB).
But I'm definately connected to the Internet because Content downloader etc. work flawlessly.
It has to do with this batocera build. I found out, it has to do with missing API keys for the different scraper services (Screenscraper, theGameDB etc.) in this build.
I found out, that maybe Lbrpdx (member of the batocera.linux developer community) might share the keys with you, to get this issue solved.
I would appreciate it.
