Like the Title says I have a bunch of Questions since I am new to the Idea of having Linux on the PS4. Somethings first, I dont have yet any idea which Firmware I have on the PS4. She is just laying arround collecting dust. Before i would fidle with her I would save my Data an Savestates etc. I am aware I might brick her and also already have fidelt with firmwares and diffrent Linux-distros on diffrent devices. Is there some actual Distro thats dedicated to the ps4? Is it a Distro that keeps Updates? How About Ubuntu or Arch? Do they work on the PS4? How is the Performance under Linux? (no, no intend to game on it) I would like to use it to fidel with it as a small homelab/testserver etc. Would that work? What does work, what does not? Something else I should consider?
