help with rufus.

alright so basically whenever i try to download popOs i run into a problem where i dont load straight into the os, rather i load into the Rescueshell where i type commands. I tried doing resume-boot but nothing happened. Help would be appreciated. note that i can download note that i can download psxitarch and other distros like fedora with the normal rescueshell method.

when i type resume-boot i guess the command isnt recognised or something like that because it just passes me down to type another command. Literally no response to the command resume-boot whatsoever.

It seems like i only have the ability to download 2 different distros. psxitarch v3 (which i dont like because of all of the gpg key issues with arch) and modded warfare's version of fedora. whenever i try to download any other distro, for example popOs or lubuntu. it seems like i cant, i tried using the rescueshell method but whenever the distro is extracted into my usb and its done, when i type resume-boot i just get stuck on the resume-boot part. i would really appreciate your help guys.

noob404 i tried doing it again but all im getting is "ERROR: No valid usb device found!" For some reason all im getting is error after error: update, i managed to extract the file directly onto my psxitarch partition and now it says this whenever i "exec start-ubuntu.sh"

noob404 do you think theres a correlation with (check the bottom image for the message i get when i try to resume-boot with the rufus method)

saying "mount: mounting /dev/sda1 on /temp failed: invalid argument

and my issue with being stuck in resume boot (this isnt related with rufus btw i was downloading using the rescueshell method)

noob404 the one where you download the distro on your ssd before you even plug it into the ps4? If so, yes. And idk if this is of any help but i managed to somehow succeed in booting popos once from the rufus method. I did the following before that happened, i tried mounting /dev/sdb2 to /newroot (im unsure if it even mounted to be honest.) then i wrote the following commands, cd bin, ls, resume-boot. It made me boot in, right now im trying to recreate that but it seems as if it doesnt want to boot with that method anymore
