when i run exec install-linux-hdd.sh it gives me thes e errors:
tar: invalid magic and tar: short read.
my ps4 model is slim 500gb, southbridge type is belize, kernel version is 5.3.18 and the distro is psxitarch.
can't install to internal hard drive
What tutorial are you following? Are you sure the file isn't corrupt? Have you cross verified the MD5 of the file?

Modded Warfare initramfs? If i am right, pls try nazky's initramfs exec install-HDD.sh
tastebin it worked, thank you! psa i had to also rename the distro file to arch.tar.xz
ilikebeing yeah sorry the renaming i forget to tell you. almost every initramfs got it own rules to rename. Happy for you. Have fun and dont hesitate to ask If other Problems are coming up.

Could you share the files your using so I can test if those work?
Also, are you on 9.00 firmware or lower?

well, looks like in my case i'm only able to get in the rescueshell is by using pendrive. My OS is running pretty well! thanks for the information you shared man!
