Posting
Make sure you have selected a tag before posting. Tags here mean the various sections of the forum, for eg:- PS4 Linux Releases. You can either go into these sections and click on Start a Discussion or click on Start a DIscussion anywhere and then choose the proper tag on the top left of the Editor.
Save as draft
Started a discussion or a post, but don't have the time to complete it yet? No worries, just click on the small save button on top right corner of the editor and the reply or the thread will be saved as a draft. This can be recovered later when you have the time to complete it.
Best Answer
This is available in two sections of the forum - PS4 Linux Gaming Support and PS4 Linux Help. Whenever a user provides the solution, please mark it as the Best answer. This will show up in Google Search results as well. Moreover, a person who has 30 or more Best Answers will automatically be awarded the Answer Master badge. Learn more about the various badges here.
Bookmark posts
Found a potential solution for one your problems in a post? But, don't have the time to review or test it? Just click on Bookmark below the post and it will be saved to your Profile. Once logged in, you can access the bookmarked posts by clicking on Bookmarks on the left pane.
See threads by a member
Say you want to find a thread I posted. But, you neither remember the title nor the content to search for it. Yes, it happens! In that case, go to the tag, i.e., the section of the forum or click on All Discussions. On the top of the page, click on Filter by Author and type the author's name, for eg:- noob404. It does support autofill, so, you will find the author by typing the first few characters of their username.
Follow a member or thread
Like a member's posts? You can follow them by going to their profile and clicking on Follow. This way, you will receive notifications about their new content. Remember that you can also follow a thread by going to it and clicking on Follow on the right pane.
PM other users
If you wish to PM (private message) another user, just go to their profile, click on Controls and then click on Send user a message. While PMs are private, indecent language and illegal content is still prohibited and a participant user in the PM can flag it. Read the rules before starting a PM.
Embedding YouTube Videos, Twitter posts, etc.
If you wish to show a YouTube video, just post its link plainly in the Editor and it will automatically convert to YouTube embed. For example, just by pasting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYd9iz7LIfA in the Editor, the video will be shown. Similarly, for a Twitter post, paste the Tweet's link, for example, https://twitter.com/Noob404yt/status/1528420883530158080.
Adding images to threads and posts
You can easily add images using Imgur. On the editor, just click on the image icon on the left to add an image via Imgur while not leaving the forum. But, if you already have the image URL, click on the image icon on right and and replace https with your image link.
Adding Polls
All members are allowed to post polls with options and set an expiry time for the poll. To add a poll, click on Start Discussion and then on the top left of the editor, click Add Poll. The usernames of voters isn't made available to the poll start though.
Liking
If you do like a post or thread, click on the Like button. People with a set number of likes throughout the forum will be awarded the Likeable badge. Learn more about the various badges here.
Mentioning other users
If you wish to call the attention of another user into a thread or post, you can mention them by using @. Just type @ followed by the username, a dropdown list will appear facilitating the selection of the user properly.
Conclusion
