You can expand the Size using Gparted. Install: Flash with Balena etcher ( Detailed instructions ) and boot with your preferred Linux Payload Download your appropriate kernel and initram here enjoy

tastebin hello, so I have ps4 fat Aeolia 500gb cuh1115, 9.00. First trouble is, I dont have keyboard, only ps4, and my android phone. It's sad to say, but I'm in jail you know. And I would like, to set up some linux or os to ps4.

OK beeing in jail is hard got that in past too. Keep your head up and wait for better days.💪✌️ I tried many Apps on android to emulate Mouse and Keyboard via Bluetooth. But i am sorry to say nothing worked good. But i hope someone Here can tell you more about. That Size Problem would Not Hit you hard If you Install on your own with bzImage, initramfs and distro. But poorly you will need a solution for typing and Mouse.

tastebin if you could provide some smaller image file to install internally to ps4, that's would be great, PopOs I think is very good, with that gnome, therefore, I could install this one, and then try to set ds4 some keyboard keys, and through virtual keyboard, write some commands in terminal.

Maybe @noob404 is ready for Install puppy internal. This distro is small as hell.

i try to belong under 32gb. i never tried. we will see.

tastebin my maximal micro sd card capacity is 64gb, if img could be about in rar archive _10gb, and after extraction ₄₅, or 50gb, that's all could get at sd card.

internal img is very good for compressing. i do in the first attemp max. filesize 49 gb

tastebin I always extract files with winrar on my android, or 7zip app, on xbox thats other console, ps4 is my cellmate
console. Then I'm extract file to micro sd card, and copy it to ps4 hdd through ps4 explorer(Lapy manager).

tastebin that's ok, one thing what I think is best in this Oses, that in some is Gnome, which provides virtual qwerty keyboard, with that is very easy log in, if isn't enabled autologin.

Arch.img is an internal Installation. psxitarch_v3_USB.img is for flashing with etcher/Rufus to USB.

tastebin 2 days earlier I have tried to run some ps4linux from usb it was fedora based, it runs twice normally, and works about 10, or 15 minutes, then freezes console, tv, mouse ds4 touchpad, and all icons on screen dissapeared. Then I was tried to run it twice but nothing happens, that wrotes on screen something like error -2
or #rescueshell
Then was look like kernel panic.
That linux on usb one man from another cell gave me to try, he has some time ago similar console ps4fat aeolia with firmware 6.72.
