Download PopOS 22.04 USB Image for PS4 Mega Notes Used bzImage: 5.15.15 by Codedwrench Used initramfs.cpio.gz: Nazky Created on PS4 Phat Aeiola, 32gb USB, heavy compressed to around 10gb. You can expand the Size using Gparted. Install: Flash with Balena etcher ( Detailed instructions ) and boot with your preferred Linux Payload Download your appropriate kernel and initram here enjoy

OK beeing in jail is hard got that in past too. Keep your head up and wait for better days.💪✌️ I tried many Apps on android to emulate Mouse and Keyboard via Bluetooth. But i am sorry to say nothing worked good. But i hope someone Here can tell you more about. That Size Problem would Not Hit you hard If you Install on your own with bzImage, initramfs and distro. But poorly you will need a solution for typing and Mouse.

tastebin if you could provide some smaller image file to install internally to ps4, that's would be great, PopOs I think is very good, with that gnome, therefore, I could install this one, and then try to set ds4 some keyboard keys, and through virtual keyboard, write some commands in terminal.

Maybe @noob404 is ready for Install puppy internal. This distro is small as hell.

acca_84 yup, i have to do that stuff too. PopOS is a little tricky. It always starts without picture, here too. On other, maybe psxitarch v3 you will not get this.

I have to add that i use a bootargs.txt file that loads an edid.bin file at boot in order to avoid black screen, the content of this file is :
drm.edid_firmware=edid/1920x1080.bin
And 1920x1080.bin is placed in /lib/firmware/edid/

acca_84 Not really. I switched initram and tested. Unpacked initramfs's but i think it is related to Pop OS. On other distros IT IS Not so difficult. Maybe noob knows more about blackscreen.

acca_84 morning✌️ i create internal Images with initram of nazky. Modded Warfare is too buggy with my usual ways to Install. Resizing the finally Arch.img is not possible so far we researched. I compress internal Images on PC with WinRAR. The USB Images are compressed with 7-zip lzma. Step by step i will compress internal Images to lzma .xz too.

Anotther thing : i try tto launch SUPRALAND SIX INCH UNDER ON STEAM , it freezeq the console just before starting the game. Is that Vulkan related ? Is popos 21.1 better for ps4 pro ? i didn't find a way to install internally

I boot with nazky initram, kernel 5.15.15 (i am on aeiola) and rename my distro to arch.tar.xz (all files placed in /user/system/boot )
in rescueshell i use exec install-HDD.sh, in the next step Installation will ask for your Image Size (at this point it is up to you how much GB.) Creating takes some time, Install starts automatic. exec start-arch.sh moves the Filesystem and boots into Desktop. Thats it. Remember for psxitarch v3 we used another way. I am German, but maybe this helps YouTube
