why i see lot of this dev make copy on terminal with mouse? is not difficult on shell u need to press ctrl+alt+c for copy
ctrl+alt+x for cut, ctrl+alt+v for copy....
and on pacman.conf if u want disable some package u need to cancel # . if is # on top of the line the system not see that line # is for comment

why u not simple update all the package of mesa and after update pacman -Syu ?

Naxil because PS4 GPU is highly custom and unique that is why all the proper Developer in ps4linux is excluding Vulkan, Mesa, etc...

If you try to update straight without exclusion you will have a Graphical issue.

Yes, I know this. If you look at my old posts, you'll see that I updated Arch without excluding those packages, and GLX Gears had some artifacts.What I didn't understand was why in the video he removes the comment on pacman.conf After that him "update with pacman -Syu" and then overwrites it with his patched mesa packages. He couldn't leave the packages to be excluded in pacman.conf., update the mesa and do after update with pacman?

Naxil It just an standard procedure, yes you can make your own ways of installing updates.

I have a question, for everyone that already try this latest mesa-arch-25.2.3-PS4-VVSX87

If yes, is it running well on your system?
And did you try atleast 2 games one old and one newer etc?

hig is long time, I have ps4 6.72 with torus2 wifi/bt sometimes wifi works, sometimes not. i need more info about self host a page for kernel exploit, and see what change if i use different linux loader. i remember use ps2 emulator very well and some pc games via wine. but the patched mesa work with vkd3d and dvxk? via wine? exist a very good light loader for wine called "faugus-launcher", it download in automatic umu-run, protone-ge, proton-em and have the possibility for use LossLess if u have the dll.

Elokuba Can you provide more steps by steps? I tried the steps you did in the video, but it broke my distro causing a blackscreen. I want to upgrade the mesa so i can play Minecraft without graphical issues.

Broke my distro.Follwed exact instructions now i just get black screen after boot up.No login screeen

Raja2701 First, add # to ignore package and ignore group in sudo nano /etc/pacman conf. Save with Ctrl+x y enter. Then, without restarting, install mesa and remove 2# and add new ignore pkg. They must be on one line.

Raja2701 If you get this to work can you please show me exactly how ? I ask because Elokuba doesn't explain it step by step.He or she is very good at this stuff but I think sometimes it's not meant for people that don't have good knowledge of linux. Plus in the video he doesn't add # to the beginning which I don't understand why

Something wrong I checked today
