Hello. Recently I was able to fix the blackscreen problem that occurred on newer PS4 kernels. There was already a fixed kernel released by saya , but the sources were not public. I was able to find the fix, and have made compiled versions with the changes. But I haven't been able test it properly since I don't have that chipset. I compiled the drivers, but someone said there was no WiFi or BT functionality. I didn't want to take the noob404 drivers to the tee as the commit history on his repo is not very nice, though I'm basing it off of that somewhat. If anyone with a MediaTek WiFI and Bluetooth console wants to test those drivers please share the file generated from dmesg > dmesg_file.txt after using one of these kernels: I might've fixed it in these most recent releases, but no testers yet. Hello, I have a PS4 PRO CUH-7016B, using batocera on 9.60. On LG TV OLED. Is it fixing black screen on boot? Edit: Tested (5.15.15 Belize) on CUH-7016B, freeze on "Starting Network..." Tested ( 6.x Belize ) on CUH-7016B fixed the black screen but when TV is shutdown then reopen it looses the signal... Maybe I need to edit bootargs.txt ? What do you think Random-Kafk ? Thanks.

Hamzo-kun Hey! If you disconnect the TV and reconnect, does doing a Ctrl+Alt+F3 , then Ctrl+Alt+F1 help? And strange that network manager freezes.. Is it with the Mediatek kernel? And it freezes as in the console and display freeze or it just keeps trying to load the NetworkManager service at startup? Thanks for your debug!

Random-Kafk I managed to fix batocera when TV is powered off/on by creating a script (/userdata/system/custom.sh) Now next issue is that bluetooth is not working anymore with this Kernel (everything fine with initramfs).

Random-Kafk Thanks. I already tried this one, It's blocked on "Starting Network...". I'm using exclusively DS4 controller, don't want to use a keyboard to always launch it. Except if you need me to debug 🙂 Is it possible to add bluetooth on this one ?

Hamzo-kun I mean debug logs are always appreciated, I'm just curious why it gets stuck there... journalctl -b or dmesg will probably say something. Manually start? So you switch to TTY then start a session with a command? But yes I think you can add bluetooth to 6.15. You need to compile with CONFIG_EXTRA_FIRMWARE="mediatek/mt7668pr2h.bin on the branch the tag is from I suppose. I'm away from home for a while now so I can't do it. I guess bluetooth is working on the 5.15.15 link I sent right before and WiFi works on all these kernels?

triki1 why u use edid override? is better you use preferred mode so linux take it firts. u can edit just the hex value if u want. sometimes need to be 256byte perfect the edid or not work. but if i see right is double edid not?
