Hig Hello. I'm sure you've come across the zram kernels by saya on his youtube and triki1 on these forums by now.
saya used his own patches and source, and maybe some of my WiFi patches on his kernel, and triki based his off my version of 6.15-crashniels source code, and enabled zram in this version some way.
As far as I understand, zram is enabled easily with CONFIG_ZRAM in the kernel configuration, and you can turn it on for zram support. I was away from my computer so I couldn't compile and test one with it yet though.
However, since zram utilizes CPU power to compress and decompress memory on the run, and the PS4 CPU within the APU is already pretty weak, in my mind it is not certain if zram will bring much benefit, especially on CPU heavy tasks or programs. Some benchmarks on this would be useful, comparing zram with the more traditional swap space.
