noob404 Hello , thanks for this awesome distro... I still following steps to make it work no my hacked PS4Pro, it is the most awaited distro in my opinion... I see a possible sugestion for new versions, the posibity to use the same USB in PS4 or PC I can´t report at this moment how it works for me becouse my Linux in Virtual box stills unpacking the tar file.... it seems infinity XD I hope to make it work today, In Raspberry we download and flash the ISOs... it is easier in this way for all the common peopple 🙂

GermanDroide After few hours of following steps, i achieve to get my usb with batocera for ps4... No results, no boots, nothing happens. I used Orbis binloader and tryed all the Linux payloads (from 1 to 5GB) 🙁 No error, nothing happened. Is there any other payloads to boot linux? I saw in the video a long url for the payload but is not complete to copy. I load Hen, the Orbis payloader and then the linux payload. In the 50MB partition is one Kernel and the initframs file as spected

hello, mi PS4 is a PS4 pro... I used the kernel that worked for me in other linux version i tested before... Linux is no my interest, no friendly with me but batocera seems amazing, I use RetroBat inside Windows and it is cool to get it for PS4. please can you share one USB image to flash and then I add my roms, bios, etc?

On the other hand I would like to ask if it is possible to make Batocera on a single partition. Creating two partitions greatly reduces the final space of a USB stick ...

MaFi4BoY I managed to boot Batocera because I didn't choose MSDOS but now I have only sound and black screen 😫

Dejeante This is most probably a kernel issue, specific to your PS4 motherboard. Check if Ethernet works.

noob404 Sorry I have no way of taking and uploading a screenshoot ,for now Im using Skraper on windows to scan the roms folder and transfering the files over,it works but it's a bit of a pain.There should be 4 scraper options in the scraper choice drop down menu but only ArcadeDB is there and frankly it's useless,I've search through as many files as I can think of in the configs to find out where the settings for the scrapers are stored with no success

And it works with Ethernet.

Tried all kernels for Belize, the Batocera boots but BLUETOOTH and WIFI is not working, tried even overclocked 5.15 kernel it booted but no change. I have PS4 Slim Belize and the image is not compatible, BT nor WIFI is not working

vendo232 Some models don't yet support WiFi/Bluetooth. Try if you can get them working on any other distro.

vendo232 If it doesn't work with other distros too, it can be confirmed that it's a limitation of your PS4 model and you will have to wait for a kernel update.

On my PS4 slim Baikal is all work,i haven't the black screen on start.....but no working internet connection lan and no wifi ( I editate the boot file but no work) and no pairing ps4 controller bluetooth but with cable is working.
There is a fix?any new Baikal Kernel?

Batocera 35 was released yesterday,all emulators updated to newer (but not latest) versions as well as many other updates...a new version would be nice 😉 https://batocera.org/changelog and as a little sidenote Batocera have added initial PS4 support 2 months ago! on the github https://github.com/batocera-linux/batocera.linux/tree/master/board/batocera/ps4

apcarr still wait for a img file ready to flash, i´m not codder/linux user... that is a great news...

I´ve installed Proxmox in one laptop i have and i am installing Batocera, Androidx86 and it is amazing.

Will be a big goal if we can instal proxmox in PS4, it can run dockers, and whatever we want. Raspberry pi4 has a Proxmox port and it works so great.

GermanDroide Similar is the case with Proxmox. It is interesting. But, this again requires a lot of time and resources. Given my current financial condition, I won't be able to fund it all on my own.

Boykiv Did you follow the tutorial properly and copy the UUID of the partition properly to batocera-boot.conf ?
