noob404 yes I tried the alternate method....It starts but after a while my ps4 just shuts off Also getting an error says remount boot and kernal file system

xeexhxn is a shutdown or the screen lose signal? try to replug the hdmi cable if is only the screen lose signal (is a bug well knowed)

77fox1 Since you are on 9.60, I am assuming you are still using the exfathax USB drive or a similar method. Can you confirm, if the jailbreak USB is still kept plugged in, when Linux boots?
