Hello, in the past 2 days I've been triying to run linux on my ps4 but I simply cant. I have a ps4 pro on version 9.60 with baikal southbridge. In the 1st day I tried to run Fedora 38 the normal way using a external hdd following Modded Warfare lattest tutorial but every time I used the command "exec install-psxitarch.sh" I was always getting the error: "No valid usb device found" even tough it was everything right on the external hdd with all the files, so I tried 3 different "bzImage" files for baikal and changed the external hdd to a usb but still did not work. In the 2nd day I tried the Alternate Method following Noob404 tutorial on youtube, I did everything right with gparted, put the files in the external hdd and extracted the distro (Fedora 38), but when I run the command "resume-boot" i was always getting the error: "mount: mounting on /newroot failed: invalid argument", I even tried to run other commands like: "mount /dev/sdb2 /newroot" "exec switch_root /newroot /newroot/sbin/init" but did nothing, and I tried different "bzImage" files like before. If anyone can help me with this issue I will apreciate, I tried to solve it myself but I coundnt probably because Im new to this. and sorry for my bad english. ![ ![

77fox1 That's an odd error. Have you tried running the usual device detection commands like blkid , etc., to check if the hard drive is even detected. And, do you get any kernel panics? Also, please fix the attached images.

noob404 During the tests on the two days, I runned the command "fdisk -l" and the exeternal hdd is detected. Sorry for the question but how can I see if I have any kernel panics. Can you try the alternate method again and share a screenshot of the exact first error you get when you try to boot?

xeexhxn is a shutdown or the screen lose signal? try to replug the hdmi cable if is only the screen lose signal (is a bug well knowed)

77fox1 Since you are on 9.60, I am assuming you are still using the exfathax USB drive or a similar method. Can you confirm, if the jailbreak USB is still kept plugged in, when Linux boots?
