noob404
Sorry Noob, but you didn't answer my question:
"Did you and Novice communicate under a private thread other than the one I was part of?"
I'm assuming yes. It would've been better to let me know you were going to do that rather than not let me know at all.
If I was part of that new private thread between the two of you, I also could've learned something in the process. That is the point of open source after-all... more eyes and brains to solve more problems. But not letting me know you were going to do that, yes that does make me feel left-out.
"And, frankly @Dr4kk3N figured the firmware issue first for MT7668 chipset."
I'm not disputing that at all. Even in my tutorial I give direct credit to @Dr4kk3N for finding the firmware and figuring this out. But I was the first to publicly release a kernel and initramfs to fix the Bluetooth issue. Dr4kk3N did not do this.
"You worked hard to get the Bluetooth working on some other Belize models"
I did this for both the Baikal and Belize. It is on record on the
#general thread of the discord server.
"And, please do not feel left out."
I wouldn't have these feelings if you and Novice would've told me what you were planning on speaking privately. Because I do feel left out, I would've liked to learn as well how you were able to solve the Wi-Fi issue. Now I feel left out regarding this specific issue.
"In my article about the fix, I do mention and commend your efforts to help the community."
Thanks I do appreciate that. Really I do. I just don't agree with some of the other things you mentioned.
