Arch Linux Drivers & Retroarch

Does anyone know the right way to install the Arch linux drivers so that it doesnt break retroarch? Cheers!

apcarr Can you explain how you are installing currently?

noob404 I've installed the drivers by adding the repos to pacman.conf then doing a pacman -S ,I've also tried installing them individually after downloading Nazky's precompiled drivers and doing a sudo pacman -U.I've found 3 different repo's and I get the same issue with retroarch on them all, it seems to be a permissions problem from what I can tell with xf86-video-amdgpu,I've also tried it on several different versions of Arch?

apcarr Should have asked first. What is the exact issue you are facing with Retroarch?

noob404 Every time I install the drivers it breaks retroarch,it will no longer boot or it appears for a split second and then crashes,prior to installing them it works fine,I'm going to install them one at a time and see which one it is exactly thats causing the issue.

Edit: it's mesa-ps4 from Nazky's repo and mesa-git from psxitarch's repo,its strange because Whitehax0r updated his Arch distro last week to V2 and that works fine?

Try running retroarch from the terminal before and after mesa installation and log the terminal output, like retroarch > before.txt and retroarch > after.txt See if there are are any obvious errors and post the output here.
