distro creation

is external hdd and usb distro dependent (as in size) or some other things? i would be down to make some distros but i want then to work on BOTH.
i could include them with my sonewhat optimized kernel (SOON)
if i could only know how to make those distros lightweight and how
would appreciate some help 😉

The packages have to be archived for installation using different methods, for internal and external. Given that, the sizes may differ. As for making them lightweight, you could consider working with @TigerClips1 on his new LFS distro - https://ps4linux.com/forums/d/265-jaguarlinux-a-ps4-linux-only-distro-beta-release
