Hi everyone, I wanted to know if you could help me with some questions I have.
I would like to try with "popos 22.04" and use hippie68's fix for alignment on hard drives but I only get this error: "No valid usb device found! Try remove, reinsert the usb device and run again install-psxitarch.sh"
I'm trying with:
Belize 5.15.15
By noob404 (codedwrench’s source, MT7668 WiFi/BT fix with DNS fix & VPN support)
initramfs.cpio.gz
By PS3ITA (New, with hippie68’s patches)
Distro Pop OS 22.04 by Noob404
But if I change to:
- initramfs.cpio.gz with MT7668 firmware (By Noob404)
Then it works: exec install-psxitarch.sh and it installs but once installed on reboots I get an error that says the service is not working "com.system76.Scheduler.service" failed to start because the kernel does not support tweaking the CPU scheduler. "Error: kernel does not support tweaking the scheduler". And I don't know how unstable everything becomes because of this
So, I don't know why it doesn't find the hard drive using the new one from PS3ITA with hippie68's patches.
I'm on a Belize PS4 PRO CUH-7015B, what would be the ideal combination to have Pop OS 22.04 with hippie68's patches? I chose Noob404's initramfs.cpio.gz for the Wifi and Bluetooth fixes, and I don't know if that needs to be fixed on all models... but curiously I can install it with that one but what I would like is to have hippie's patches since I checked and they are indeed not aligned.
Thank you very much.
