Thefirebeast I have tried this earlier on, in the journey and couldn't find any notable difference in the performance. But, given the variations on PS4 with each model, kernel and even the payload, I decided not to post about conclusions without factoring in everything. Then, I saw videos on the Discord and otherwise people showing better performance with overclocked kernels. That got me confused. If my PS4 wasn't giving me troubles with different kernels (an issue I started facing only recently out of nowhere), I would have loved to try this out again and see if OC kernels made a difference.
