@zerobou Showed me this method, figured id share it here as I cant find it on any guides.
Using this initramfs to install linux will copy over your tv's edid(Extended Display Identification Data) and will create a file called bootargs.txt in your fat32 partition where you placed your bzimage. If you have already installed linux then manually create the 1080p bootargs file thats in the next step before reinstalling linux.
This will fix the black screen issue for some people but others will need to go into that bootargs file and replace drm.edid_firmware=edid/my_edid.bin with drm.edid_firmware=edid/1920x1080.bin
