Hi all, I am struggling to get PSXitarch V3 working on my 5.05 Aeolia PS4 Original. I kept trying to install it and i get the error in the photo attached saying "try to find the right usb". Randomly when I was waiting at that error it magically just started working an installing itself and I got it to work but the issue is it was on a test usb 2.0 drive that is no good for games. I went and bought this https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/usb-flash-drives/usb-3-1-flash-drive-fit-plus-256gb-muf-256ab-am/ to use as my drive. I did everything the same, used the same files as the other drive and it just will not work. I am desparate as I plan to give this PS4 to someone as a Christmas present and I want to get it working as soon as possible. Does anyone know the answer to this error? The forums dont tell me much and I made sure it was in FAT32, etc. I Even tried cloning the 2.0 to the new flash drive and that didnt work either!!
Most probably a kernel or initram error. Try playing with different ones. But, please note that some USB devices are simply not compatible with PS4 Linux.
noob404 I have tried multiple usb sticks and files and it still doesnt work. I even used the same usb i got to work before and it still doesnt work
